National Graphic Design Branding and Marketing
Carba-Tec is a national retailer selling Australia's largest range of tools for wood.
My role within Carb-Tec covers a variety of projects and responsibilities. As the sole designer within the marketing team (which also includes of an editor, photographer and national sales and marketing manager), it is my duty to provide full retail and commercial branding and design to Carba-Tec. Examples of my work include:
- full retail signage: instore product and sale signage (for all stores across the country)
- individual product brochures, advertisements and banners
- Carba-Tec catalogues, website maintenance, brochures, trade show signage etc
- small to large scale packaging and a wide variety of product labels
- magazine advertisements
- full page article and project spreads
- finished art
- postcards for direct mailing
- email campaigns
I also work with the team to constantly challenge our marketing direction, in order to develop methods of not only reaching, but expanding our market.

With my passion in furniture design, brand development and business, my role was to tie together the marketing collateral for the independently owned and operated national offices, as well as assisting to create a greater market presence for the newer Sydney office. Skills that I had learnt through this role included high level communication and organisational skills, including visual, verbal and written, as well as the ability to ensure collaboration between three different markets to create one unified brand.
