My passion for design has influenced numerous design teams to think "out of the box" producing creative forward thinking concepts, and production ready themes. I directed numerous design programs that involve developing creative themes that adhered to both functional attributes as well as strict packaging feasibility.
My work history hosts a vast diversity of experiences, from automotive design, aerospace interior development, apparel and watch design, to creating consumer retail products. This included:
-Directed the design of products for General Motors Corporation, Boeing Aircraft, Chrysler Corporation, International Navistar, Ford Motor Company, Whirlpool Corporation, and a host of automotive Tier One suppliers.
The majority of these experiences included:
-Extensive creative hands on, and managerial responsibility with Creative Designers, Modelers, Digital Math Modelers, Engineers, suppliers, outside Product Design vendors, and in-house shop personel.
My career involved experiencing both sides of the process of design from creating conceptual and manufactureable ready components at Tier-One suppliers for OEM's, to creating progressive production products at OEM"s working inconjuction with Tier-One suppliers. My focus is on functional, aesthetically fresh, smart designs that offer best-in-class quality, functionality and craftmanship to the end user.

Design Studio Manager - Truck and SUVFORD MOTOR COMPANYAug 1999 - Jul 2008 (8 years 11 months)Directed and mentored a 10+ team consisting of creative forward thinking Industrial Designers, Studio Math Modelers, and Sculptors into developing a fresh approach to the interior aesthetics for the 2011 Ford Explorer and 2009 Ford Flex. Directed weekly design AST meetings, provided objective input during management walkarounds, while creating on-time styling solutions.
-Total interior design responsibility for the 2008 Ford Escape, 2008 Mercury Mariner, and Ford Ranger Pickups, important keystone vehicles for Ford Motor Company.
Participated in key competitive research presentations/events for each program, delivered aesthetic work around solutions for stringent ergonomic/safety constraints, and designed around must-have engineering packaging hardpoints.
Successfully followed and completed (birth to pre-production) these total interior programs below.

-Consulted with client (Chrysler Corporation) engineering teams to co-develop production Jeep products which also included surfacing assessment with outside Tier Two suppliers to ensure design surface intent is accomplished.
-Conducted client senior management reviews to assure proper design path is achieved. -

Production Studio Artist/DesignerWTVS Channel 561975 - 1976 (1 year)BROADCASTING- Designed and developed set/stage designs for various television programs (weekly news shows and daily programming venues), graphic backdrops for news articles, and even freelanced as an Art Director for a syndicated local dance program that was filmed and taped in Toronto, Canada, designing the entire set and closing credits.
