Formula Student Electric is an annually held and global design competition for engineers. The goal is to design and build an electric race car in an interdisciplinary team. However, the competition comprises more than being the fastest car on the track. Besides constructing the actual e-racer the teams have to work out a fictitious business plan explaining how they would manufacture a series of 1000 cars. Only the team providing the best overall performance reagarding construction, race performance, business matters and marketing strategy can win the competition.
