Disney + Barneys NY – Electric Holiday Spectacular 2012

Provided key consumer/trend research and final design of the campaign logo, visual brand identity, product development guidelines, and packaging for the limited edition (200) Vinylmation dolls from Paul Smith and Diane Von Furstenberg.

The Walt Disney Company and Barneys NY launched their first ever holiday collaboration: Electric Holiday Spectacular. The iconic institutions of high fashion and populist childhood wonder worked together for over a year to blend two very different worlds in a 5-minute animated short titled “Electric Holiday”, taking inspiration from Disney’s famous “Mainstreet Electrical Parade” and the special lighting installations so central to the New York holiday season and the flashbulbs of fashion runways.
