Helen Leigh has been an artist for 13 years and has had 5 major exhibitions including 2 charity auctions for the Cancer Society & Christchurch City Mission, and 2 Solo Shows, including a recent solo show at the Exchange Art Gallery (2019).

Her Art is a Celebration of Colour and Animals, she experiments with the personification of inanimate objects and giving them human qualities which is designed to provoke a feeling; (subconscious or otherwise) in the viewer of our connection to all things & to remind us that all things Feel, grow, and have their place alongside us to reciprocally enjoy.

She specialises in: Abstract Expressionist - Drip/Splatter Painting & Surrealism.

My Art is a Celebration of Colour, Animals, and .. Weirdness.. and the Awe and Feelings that these combined evoke.

Animals are a subject close to my heart and my passion; And the freedom of drip painting as well as combining strange Surrealism concepts using Vibrant Colour is a complete expression from my soul.
