Second year 'Magnets' design project.
The product ‘MyBit’ is a bike speedo with environmentally beneficial perks depending on the amount of miles you ride. Each mile gives the user a defined amount of points, which could then be spent in ‘Be Local Buy Local’ stores. The aim of the product is to promote buying locally to support community business and boost the nearby economy. We created an app where the users can have a profile, which can be connected with various social media sites so users can compete with friends, and monitor and upload their progress on the go.
