Publication Layout: J.Crew Catalog
Spreads built for J.Crew catalog (May 2011 issue). Pages were built using InDesign and K4 software. Building the catalog pages meant placing low-resolution art and importing the text, which had to be spaced according to strict guidelines. Once a spread was built, it would then go to a graphic designer, who would replace the dummy headlines and low-res art and sometimes rearrange a layout. At this stage images of the textile samples would also be imported.
