For my final year project for my first year in Diploma in Retail & Hospitality design, all of us were given Bedok Reservoir as our site, which is located at the south of Temasek Polytechnic. We had to pick a spot to build our project. I chose a spot that has a curved-in bay. The beautiful scene inspired me to create a structure that follows the curved-in bay in a parallel manner.
This building has various interior spaces such as dining area, gathering space, conference area and a garden.
How this building is built is tall gabion walls that form one big curve and one small curve. This building is meant to provide recreational purposes for the students of Temasek Polytechnic.
