Business organizations have fundamental roles in the economic system of countries. Business education provides the knowledge and skills required for effective management of business organizations in a rapidly changing global environment. In this respect, business education focuses on decision making process that will lead to effective and efficient use of resources, strategic management, marketing, finance and accounting, human resources and contemporary management techniques. The Department of Business Administration in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) has six main fields of science, i.e. Management and Organization; Accounting and Finance; Quantitative Techniques; Production Management and Marketing; Trade Law; Cooperatives. The curricula of the Department consist of the compulsory courses in these distinct fields and a large variety of selective courses. The content of the courses enable students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in business, to enhance their analytical thinking and to improve their ability to analyze business problems.

The department is competent to respond to the needs of the industry, winning the formation of technicians, in a field related to the profession of design and production, which supplies the appropriate materials and machinery, uses modular furniture design suitable for mass production, controls the production process, reduces wastage and losses and modulates the process of notification. Practical hands-on workshop provides students with the practice the courses offer. The main objectives of the department, with adequate infrastructure, technical issues, and interpreting data acquired in the field using the basic knowledge and skills, is to train technicians who can identify and assess problems and develop solutions. In addition, Furniture and Decoration program aims to train personnel capable of preparing a stand-alone project, transforming manufacturing, technological developments, and gives importance to work discipline, time management, productivity growth, emphasizing on personal development, professional and social development.
