Bell's commuter/urban helmet in two versions, released the public in 2014. The Hub is the no slider, no shield version and offered at a lower price point. The Annex has a shield and vent shut off slider.
Industrial Designer: Ben Pritz. There isn't anything on this helmet which does not have Ben's design stamp on it aside from inside EPS geometries.
My part on this project was the initial design validity assessment, and the design of the vent slider mechanism, shield hinge mechanism, removable tail light holder, MIPS low friction layer, internal channeling, strapping assembly implementation, manufacturing process in conjunction with the vendor and Bell Far East Team. I oversaw testing analysis and execution.
