Ph.D. Design
Université de Montréal
2012 - 2018
This study explores how the premise of persuasive design can be applied to game design and, specifically, to help guide player behaviour. It is informed by Richard Buchanan's design research and the Treaty of Argumentation by Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca. My methods apply research through design, where I aim to develop and test a pen-and-paper role-playing game based on persuasive design.
