Shine (ETS/UQAT/ISTDS/GAMA Team, 2013)

Shine was an adventure game developed by a team of students from UQAT, ÉTS Montréal and ISTDS.
The game won Best Design, Best Art Direction and Best Prototype at 2013's Ubisoft Montreal's university contest: Academia.

In the game, players explore a dark environment to find keys, which are needed to move to the next level. To this end, the protagonist must cast balls of light to reveal their environment. However, huge monsters are also lurking in each level. These monsters are ready to attack the protagonist, but must avoid the light.

As supervising professor, I guided the students through the experience, mechanics and level design.
