Hindsight (page 1 of 22) - A book created that referenced a cross country journey. Constructed as an accordion fold book, it is meant to be combine functionality (maps on one side) with chronological page layouts that catalogued the trip.
College project: The Fountainhead book jacket. Timeline: 2 weeks. Task: choose from ten books and redesign an appropriate cover for one. I chose "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. The main character is an individualist, which is one of the main themes of the book: separate yourself from the masses. I painted the main image with oil on canvas, and using color and scale I attempted to illustrate what I considered to be the focal points of the novel.
