This is a non-profit organization that I formed to using classical drawing and painting techniques to create portraits for people that have experienced a loss. This is designed to showcase the power of portraiture in the healing process.
● The paintings are printed using a Giclee process and these are given to patrons.
● The website will feature a way to donate artwork and funds.

User Experience Researcher

Contracted to lead the qualitative research portion of the product development cycle, found insights and reported findings that drove product design and strategy.
• Interviewed 10 middle aged home owners and recorded 2 hour interviews that uncovered
important elements of participant tasks during home organization. These findings were
used to drive the creation of a robotic consumer product.
• Recruited certified professional organizers as subject matter to get perspective on process,
tasks and goals of customers. The results were interviews that guided future research and
models of potential customers of robotic products.
• Reviewed literature in the domain of home organization including product marketing plans,
scholarly papers and technical journals to develop questions for subject matter expert.
• Sketched 42 concepts of robots to suggest use cases based upon preliminary research.
• Met with stakeholders to learn the type of product that they want to implement.
• Conducted embedded studies to learn use scenarios of home organization; this resulted in
task analysis list for washing clothes, organizing collections and garage storage.
• Used Human Factors research methods to develop strategy, interaction and user interface
for autonomous vehicles. The results and recommendations were presented to autonomous
vehicle group.

Industrial Designer/Interior Specialist

Designed the product form and the user interaction of premium class seating, aircraft galley and fuselage.
●Conducted stakeholder interviews with team of computer and mechanical engineers to produce graphical user interface for the control for first class seating. I took the design from low fidelity wireframe to prototype.
●Used 3D Unigraphics files to design form for aircraft galley ovens and freezers that were consistent with the brand language of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
●Directed program to retrofit 25,000 sq. ft. seat testing facility.
●Patent issued as inventor and coinventor on 18 US and EU patents for new aircraft interior products.
●Used unique visual language to design innovative aircraft ovens and chillers. Managed contracted model-makers in building a full scale prototype of oven and chiller. These prototypes were displayed at Aircraft Interior Expo in Hamburg, Germany. The detailing and finish design work was contracted to Teague which won a Red Dot Industrial Design Award.
●Conceived modular galley unit and its subsequent production valued at over 1 billion dollars.
