Christine N. Chastain
Design, Research and Innovation Specialist
Christine is a human-centered designer in Cigna’s innovation practice. She uses foresight, mixed research methods and cultural understanding to explore complex questions that lead to the development of strategic design solutions.
In her years of global experience, Christine has helped Fortune 500 brands, government agencies and non-profit groups align vision, strategy and implementation to address changing future dynamics. Christine explores deep insight in user experience, behaviors and need, emerging technology and brand challenges to highlight the gaps in product, service and process solutions that lead to organizational success.
Christine comes from an agency background (McCann-Erickson, Leo Burnett and Lintas). She was a founding team member of the Advanced Portfolio Exploration Group at General Motors, the Center for Innovation at Mayo Clinic and most recently, Cigna's Innovation Center of Excellence.
Christine is also a faculty member at the University of Utah's Eccles School of business where she lectures on user experience and has contributed to the creation of a novel executive and student collaborative Certificate for Digital Innovation.
