Welcome to my portfolio web site! On this site, you will find several video projects I have completed, photos that I have taken over the last couple of years, my resume, and my contact information.
As of May 2013, I am officially an alumnus of Louisiana State University with a B.F.A. in Digital Art and a minor concentration in Art History.
With my education at LSU, I have been able to learn and experience many different fields of artistic mediums.
Particularly, I have learned:
Photography
Videography
Photo and video editing
Simple 2D/3D design
Knowledge in web design, layout, and HTML code
Microsoft office suite
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and some experience in Dreamweaver
Apple Final Cut Pro and Logic
Autodesk Maya and Mudbox
Printmaking, including intaglio, lithography, screen printing, relief printing, and bookmaking
Along with those, I like to experiment in making stop motion animations. I have made some simple ones in the past, but my most recent animations are made from photo frames. For example, on my video page you will see the Brooklyn Bridge video. For that video, I came up with a system that I've stuck to ever since then. For every step forward, I take a photo. Later, I weave the hundreds of photos together in stop motion animation fashion so that the video actually takes you on a journey. I later adapted this to parties where people were dancing. For every beat of the song I took a picture. This turned out pretty well and you can see it in my stop motion video I made while studying abroad in Ireland.
I am also a huge music aficionado. I have played musical instruments ever since I was eight years old including: trumpet, baritone, french horn, tuba, bass guitar, and guitar. Along with playing music, I enjoy catching up on the newest music released and experimenting with different music programs.
I just believe I am a creative person that likes to think of new ideas and push boundaries. I enjoy learning and seeing what kind of new concepts can be applied to the standard to make it become something unique.
I hope you enjoy my work!
