UX Lead, Design Systems - Platform UX
San Francisco, CA
May 2023 - Present (1 year 6 months)
I build accessible, scalable design systems for growing cybersecurity teams as a member of the Platform UX team.
• Established a heuristic evaluation process framework to identify and resolve accessibility and usability issues in the UI.
• Developed new component guideline and component set annotation templates to optimize the documentation and act as connective tissue between the React UI library and the Figma component assets.
• Organize and facilitate team Visual Design Review and Interaction Design Review meetings.
• Measure effectiveness of our Review meetings and Design System through surveys.
• Provide feedback on team processes, in-progress design and components in reviews and 1:1s with designers, engineers and product managers.
• Work with fellow designers to ensure that shared library of components is consistent, reusable and has the flexibility to scale as the UI evolves.
• Compose clear and thorough documentation that illustrates how components and patterns are to be implemented by engineering and used in layouts by feature designers.
• Propose adoption of tools, templates and processes that help to increase efficiency and speed.

Senior Product Designer
San Francisco, CA
Feb 2021 - Jan 2023 (1 year 11 months)
I was a UX design lead for internal tools for the Revenue Productivity and Observability Experience teams. This work positively impacted internal users, influenced product roadmap and internal processes. I worked alongside peers in PM, Eng and with other executive stakeholders to plan, design, test and ship thoughtful, research-led solutions to our internal customers (Twitter engineers, client account managers and client partners).
• Embedded myself within teams existing ceremonies as an active contributor to planning, retros, updates and strategy meetings.
• Established internal processes within my project teams to aid in collaboration and knowledge sharing (ex. bi-weekly UX + Observability Experience leadership meeting, monthly design + eng reviews, working sessions and 1:1s with product and engineering, pixel review sessions).
• Identified opportunities to improve the user experience through customer interviews and UX audits.
• Refined project requirements through the process of iterative design and user validation.
• Created user testing plans, led user studies and compiled the results in shareable reports and presentations with XFN partners and stakeholders.
• Developed and facilitated design thinking workshops.
• Engaged with the Feather Design Systems Core Team every week to discuss guidelines, share proposals, and weigh in on solutions for internal tool components.
• Fueled the adoption of Feather Design System within Observability Experience and Revenue Productivity (developed proof of concept, proposals, etc.)
