OffColor: Spike Lee Film Festival

This was a fictitious assignment done in a graduate class at the Academy of Art University. The title of the film festival originated in the director's racially-charged films and the controversy his earlier work inspired. The color palettes, shapes and compositions used in the design were inspired by Spike Lee's filmography and used together create a consistent look and feel throughout a variety of materials. The following were included in a system of identity: logo, poster, brochure, event guide book, business system, promotional tee shirt, dvd/cd packaging, and an ideation book.
