Francesca Paolin is the designer behind the Paolin label. The brand reflects Francesca's journeys, dreams and joyful playfulness reminiscent of her family memories, where form plays with colour, tastes, ages, materials and new cultural contaminations combine. The collections combine 3D printed technology with handmade craft skills.
Francesca grew up amidst the excessive fashions of the 80s and the reactive minimalism of the 90s. Francesca has been feeding her passions for fashion observing her mother hand making garments, knitting and making extremely feminine embroideries as learnt from aristocratic Venetian ladies, along with seeing her father wearing farm clothing or his funny "elegant" outfits mixing the modern with the old. This sense of style has been further developed by Francesca's travels and work experience abroad where seeing people wear their traditional clothing mixed with of other Cultures and a unique, eclectic.
Thanks to her unique background and talent the Istituto Europeo of Design offered her a bursary for the Fashion and Textile Design Diploma. A few years later Domus Academy offered her a bursary for a Masters in Fashion Design. Her experience spans both major international recognized fashion companies, as well as niche high end British luxury Designers.
