About
My current position is a unique mix of magazine work as an art director - and a task-master (design manager), producing 4 weeklies papers and maintaining our online websites - oakpark.com, austinweeklynews.com, forestparkreview.com and rblandmark.com.
Along with our latest venture into the world of food with oakparkeats.com. Where I have cut my teeth on video editing with final cut and premiere.
I work with a team of designers and photographers in a very fast-paced environment.
As a Designer Editor and educator, I understand the scope and depth of each project.
I have most currently, taught an online design course through Concordia College of NY.
I have worked with and created teams, along-side illustrators, graphic designers, photographers/cameramen, models, actors, stylists and copy editors. .
I have a keen awareness of how a project is best designed and delivered. And have accrued an understanding of time management, working project schedules and enjoying the process.
I have been recognized by the Society for Newspaper Design, Communication Arts, and Print magazine. -
