- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) research group, aiming at design a new interactive tool for personal medication management (inhaler), to increase patients’ medication adherence, improve the providers’ work efficiency, decrease drug abuse
- Collaborate with 15+ clinicians, the team contains physician, pharmacist, psychologist, RN, HBPC, Rehabilitation
- Discover: reveal the problems in the current system, among the interaction between Provider,
inhaler and patients with the toolkit : stakeholders’ map, patients’ safari, Role play
and ambient experience
Define: information classification, insights analysis, design requirement matrix and define
opportunity gaps, define practical solution (current stage)
Develop: concept generation, rapid prototype making, internal usability test on focus group
(VA’s COPD patient group), measurement and design refinement
Deliver: practical solution can be applied in COPD group.

- Perform as a key member of OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) project team and acquire strong ability to work with colleagues (French, Dutch, Chinese, American) with different background (EE, ME, marketing, medical profession) in efficacy and highly efficient way.
- Involved in User experience research, Service design research, medical procedure research,concept generation and industrial&service design for OSA diagnostic and treatment.
- Develop adaptive thinking ability, innovative mind, strong problem-solving capabilities: during these months, I found out and keep on seeking new methodology for user experience research. Aiming at Chinese consumers’ characteristic, I found out some more efficient research method to learn their insights and potential needs.
- Master knowledge in professional healthcare domain, especially respiration and sleep disease.
- Good at motivating, inspiring and encouraging team members by proceeding design process
-Actively participated in other innovation activities. Played a key role in innovation projects in the domain of healthcare for children, which won the first prize of Eureka Fair, the innovation event held by Philips Research China.
