Whether I'm at a hard rock concert in the heart of the city or a bonfire on a gravel road in the middle of nowhere, I am always searching for design inspiration. Graphic design is my passion; I love what I do. I strive to create unique, professional designs influenced by both personal experiences and extensive research.
During my time as a student at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, I learned to utilize graphic design to integrate my lifelong interests of art, reading, and writing. Because half of design is typography, it is useful to have the ability to write and edit the content for my work. I enjoy designing a variety of materials, including logos, brand identities, collateral materials, invitations, stationary, etc. My creativity, positive attitude, and value of hard work allow me to produce high-quality designs. If you can imagine it, I would love to create it.
I graduated from Clarke with my Bachelor of Fine Arts / Emphasis in Graphic Design / Minor in Writing in the spring of 2015. I am currently working as a textbook cover designer at Kendall Hunt Publishing Company in Dubuque, and I also enjoy doing freelance design.
Although I work in Dubuque, my roots are in Monticello, Iowa, where I grew up on a pig farm. I now live on an acreage with my husband, who is also a farmer, two miles away from my parents' farm. Some of my hobbies include spending time with family and friends, running, swimming, exploring parks, mushroom hunting, and attending county fairs.
