Berkshire Bird Paradise Calendar Project
Ran collaborative project with 6 artists, who contributed artwork for a calendar aimed to raise funds for 'Berkshire Bird Paradise' in New York. The calendar was made with handmade recycled paper from the 'Green Shop' in Northern India, who train and employ recent Tibetan refugees in the art of papermaking. Seek out and employ new sustainable textile, printing and paper vendors in Delhi and the Himachal Province, India, including local and specialized businesses such as the Green Shop- a community initiative focusing on paper collection, recycling and paper-making. Direct, review and approve color submissions from vendors and printers. Attend/manage print runs of materials to ensure accurate execution at production centers. Norbulingka Institute, India, 2007 Collaborate with Tibetan artisans and students, in designing Tibetan inspired products, packaging and accessories to be sold at local boutiques. Exhibition department model maker for the exhibit "Ancient Fossils New Discoveries". Create scientifically accurate models of prehistoric plants using techniques such as vacuum-forming and mold making rubber and plaster. Translate photographs into 2d vector illustrations.
