Fabricio Dore holds a BA in Industrial Design from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and a MA in Interaction Design from the Designhögskolan, Umeå University (Sweden). He started his career as an Industrial Designer in Rio designing furniture, packaging and kitchenware. A passion for technology and his desire to solve more complex design problems brought him to Scandinavia - more specifically the north of Sweden - to study Interaction Design.
As an Interaction Designer he spent most of his career at IDEO (San Francisco, Chicago and Munich) where he got the chance to work with big clients (Ford, DaimlerChrysler, at&t, Bosch, LillyPharmaceuticals, Novartis, Nokia, CBA and others) on Innovation and Design Challenges, such as MyFordTouch (http://goo.gl/oXEvi), Pi Payment Platform (http://goo.gl/ucvwE), HomeManager (http://goo.gl/1sdaw). On those projects, he took part on Design Research, Participatory Design, Prototyping (low to high fidelity) and Implementation. This rich experience with different clients in a variety of industries gives him a unique perspective on how to approach design challenges.
Fabricio is currently the leader of Innovation in Technology and User Experience in Digital Channels at Itaú, one of the largest banks in the world: about 90k employees, profit (2012) of +5 Bi Euros and net worth of +26 Bi Euros. He leads a team of designers, technologists, researchers and data analysts, managing large scale projects.

He took part on Design Research in Brazil, the US, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, France, Switzerland and China.
