Fabiano Pereira

Professional with over 10 year’s experience, I’m a self-motivated person who works with systematic design development and innovation processes. Since 2001, I have coordinated the implementation phases of design solution, from scenarios analysis to design strategy, from concepts to the final product (This includes being a team player at Philips Design Concept Lab, supervisor of the project innovation category winner at Alcoa Innovation Contest and project coordination of semifinalist product design category at IF Hannover Design Awards 2009).

As design professor since 2002, I'm responsible to learning experiences for design teaching & faculty development for important universities in São Paulo. In 2010, I started with some with some talented colleagues the project “Experimentando Design Thinking”, that aims to provide practical experiences in generating innovative solutions by Design Thinking with a Human-Centered Design approach for designers, social innovation agents, entrepreneurs and students. Enabling co-design solutions to contextual innovation for approximately 300 participants until 2013 in five different Brazilian cities.

Nowadays, I've worked as Design Consultant for Strategic Design solutions, Project Innovation, Design Thinking and Knowledge Management. As a Coordinator of the Strategic Design postgraduate course at the IED São Paulo, I am responsible for the multidisciplinary team activities, composed by professors, students and partners. As owner of Circunflexo Design, I am responsible that develop different lines of strategic design solutions for company and institutions.
