The Asher is located in Ft. Worth and is a non-illuminated sign due to code restrictions. It is built around an existing non-illuminated structure, which was modified to keep the size within city code requirements. The letters are painted acrylic flush mounted onto the surface.
The Knox at WestChase is located in San Antonio, TX and is a large development with multiple entrances. I created the interlocking panels for the current wing walls so none of the standing walls needed to be changed. The decorative panel is made from aluminum and painted with a faux finish to simulate core ten steel. The pattern was very complex and had to be laid out so that the cut areas were large enough for the router blade. The pattern is also tapered, so that the open part of the design is narrower at the top and wider at the bottom.
The Renata on Fredericksburg is located in San Antonio, TX. The monument was built onto an existing larger monument, requiring the top part to be cut off. The original monument was not illuminated, so this version has internally lit cabinets surrounding the existing structure. The vertical cabinet was placed over the existing painted base and then the name cabinets (two-sided) were fabricated to fit over the vertical one. The name is push-through acrylic letters. There are show-through numbers and logo element. The vertical cabinet is painted with a faux finish core ten paint to look like steel.
Waterside is located in Tulsa, OK and is close to the university and colleges. It has a younger demographic and is a large property. There is no monument, but large radius walls lining both sides of the entrance. They are illuminated with pack lights. The walls were painted, then hand painted by a mural artist. The reverse channel letters and logo are 4" deep and anchored to the brick. The zig zag pattern repeated on all of the signage throughout the property.
The Lofts on Hulen, also located in Ft. Worth was built on an existing structure. It is non-illuminated. The cabinet is faced with corrugated aluminum panels and a framed perforated stock metal screen. The letters are all painted acrylic. The cabinet wraps around an irregular shaped monument that would've cost a lot to modify and was not permitted to demolish.
