I have worked in denim for almost a decade now. Along my journey I've been able to work with great names such as "The Godfather of Denim" himself Adriano Goldshmied, and Jeffrey Sebelia of Cosa Nostra/Project Runway Season 3 winner.The biggest brand names I've worked for are probably AG Jeans, and Rock and Republic.

I was extremely lucky to have learned all the things I did while I was here (from all the great resources available at the school everyday, to the highly skilled professionals and the wealth of their knowledge they shared with me everyday). Afterwards I took all of my knowledge and applied it to a job in the industry.

Denim of Virtue
The company had just started and needed help with merchandising. I helped name the company and decide on the overall look of the brand. In doing all of this, I developed washes, fits, trims and branding. Worked with the Head of Sales to provide trend current samples for major trade shows.
Cosa Nostra
The head designer was on Project Runway and needed someone to assist with his line while he was away. This job changed everything for me and made me realize that fitting-in to stupid trends is not always necessary.
Evisu Goes Hollywood
After AG Jeans I went to work for Adriano Goldshmied himself on a special Evisu project designed for the Hollywood market. I was very fortunate to work with such a genius!
Unknown Factory/Eclipse Noir
Basically, I made this guy's ideas into a reality.
A lot of these were start-up companies (at the time) which gave me tons of experience in all things sample making and Pre-production. Sketching, Illustrator, Tech Packs, Patterns, Cutting, Marking, Garment construction, Trim development and application, etc are all things I had to do quickly and accurately. -

Assistant DesignerRock and RepublicApr 2004 - Mar 2006 (1 year 11 months)Followed up with wash development. Coordinated with Sample sewers. Put together sample sets for trade shows. Adjusted patterns and pocket specs. Line sheets. Designed graphics for business cards and tee shirt graphics.
