Chicago native turned sunny Southern California transplant and multi-disciplinary graphic designer with 20+ years curating dynamic brands and brand experiences for customers around the globe.
Projects that I've proudly been both a team member of and led have been recognized and featured by industry peers including AIA, IIDA, Communication Arts (cover), Graphis, HOW, Interior Design Magazine, the Chicago Architecture Foundation and more. I've had the privilege of partnering with some of the worlds' most iconic brands and clients from a broad spectrum of sectors including tech, science, healthcare, education, not-for-profit, sports and finance on projects small to large including American Express, Bank of America, USO, Microsoft, The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and more.
Fundamentally I view the most impactful role of design today as strategy, leveraging the design process as the means to reveal solutions to client problems and create fresh and unexpected opportunities across mediums, not simply one dimensional do'ers looking at problems through isolated lenses. My current experience includes everything from brand positioning and identity design to fully immersive permanent and temporary brand activations that include elements of graphic design, signage, art, architecture, emerging technology, sound and more. In my free time I enjoy trail running, finding new ways to get into trouble and exploring the West coast with my wife Rebecca and Klee Kai, Bowie. -
