The on-campus Athletic and Wellness Center at SUNY New Paltz hired me as their graphic designer. I do everything from social media posts and upkeep to print jobs large and small. Most of the work I do advertises Intramural, Outdoor Pursuits, Group Exercise and other regular programs, along with special events and some fundraisers.

Coburn is an international opthalmic equipment and lens finishing company that hired me as a summer intern for their marketing department. I worked mostly with the in-house Graphic Designer and the Trade Show Coordinator. I got to work on a ton of different projects from print to web and even sat in on some meetings regarding SEO (Search Engine Optimization). The two main projects I completed were a brochure for Digital Lens Surfacing, and a new section of the company website: a career portal.

I founded this photo scanning and editing business using my own computer and family scanner. It has been quite lucrative for me, and I think that people truly enjoy being able to easily access their old family pictures on a computer or digital photo frame.

I worked at this small (about 80-employee) civil engineering company the summer before my junior year of college. I really enjoyed the experience of working at an ever-growing specialty company such as this one. It was definitely beneficial to work at a small company that was not design-oriented, as I learned to cater to the needs of the engineers and executives while working closely with them, the graphic designer, and the rest of the marketing team.
