My work as a Graphic Designer began in 2003 in all forms of printed media; magazines, postcards, brochures, and developing corporate identity (logos). Since 2005, I've gained experience in the screen printing and embroidered emblems industry learning a whole new world of graphic design from patches to screen printing to direct embroidery and vinyl banners.
I've used my knowledge of GSUSA and BSA licensee guidelines which are fundamental in working directly with these organizations to enhance these business relationships.
My strengths in these areas were rewarded with my advancement to Promotional Director in 2007. My new responsibilities included marketing our company to new customer bases; increasing our presence within our current customer bases; scheduling and following through with new promotions, specials and ad campaigns. In 2011, I began managing the company's social media avenues.
I have a diverse list of job duties and responsibilities and I am confident I do them very well. My specialties include:
-Creative art design
-Ad campaign development and implementation
-Social Media Management
-Product design and marketing
In addition to my work as a graphic designer, I am an active volunteer board member of the Duluth Recreational Soccer League (DRSL). As such, I play an instrumental role in its success by leading our efforts in creating an independent website, setting up and managing the league's Facebook page, and helping in organizing each season (scheduling fields, recruiting players, etc). Additionally I support the league as the Sponsorship Coordinator, which involves obtaining and retaining sponsors for each team.
In 2013, I was the Race Director of DRSL's first Neon Shuffle 5K Fun Run fundraiser where we raised nearly $5000 for the league, $2000 of which we donated to Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Center of Duluth's power wheelchair soccer program.
