OOKS Rush

OOKS Rush is an infinite runner developed in Unity and released on Android and iOS. Developed over the course of six months the game consists of eight levels which explore a variety of different environments and regularly introduce new mechanics. As the player progresses through the world, they gather "Storystuff" which at the end of a level can be used to create new playable characters who are procedurally generated from the particular Storystuff collected.

The design focused on being intuitive and appealing for a younger audience and making the most of the art excellent art assets I had available to me. Spine 2D was used to create our dynamically customisable rigs and implementing it well was key to achieving the flexibility and aesthetics we needed.
