As the Facebook Page Manager for Lifegate Church and Lifegate Thrift Store, I established an empathetic and inspirational voice during a global pandemic.

For Lifegate Church, I created weekly posts to share Bible verses and ways to stay connected to church during Quarantine, I responded to fan comments and questions, and polled fans about how they are doing weekly.

For Lifegate Thrift Store, I kept fans updated about changes to the store during the pandemic, and kept things upbeat with albums of new items when the store was open.

I crafted original, detailed, creative descriptions for prom dresses and evening gowns, on RissyRoos.com.

From the moment you walked through our doors, to the moment you wrote a glowing review on our Facebook Timeline, LUSH Atlantic City was a fun, unique, and personable experience.

As Facebook Page Manager, creating daily original content made me a stronger copywriter. This position taught me how to stick to deadlines, while crafting a sweet and cheeky brand voice. I shared an eclectic blend of LUSH videos, blogs, trivia, and original photos, to keep the conversation going, and keep the customers coming back for more!

Advertising is one of my true passions. GeniusRocket helped me get my creative mind rolling with concepts for creative briefs, radio spots, TV spots, and full brand campaigns.

By looking at situations through the eyes of the target audience, and doing extensive research to get to know the client, I found an out-of-the-box way (or multiple ways) to get the client's message exactly where they wanted it.

Crafted copy for e-mail, collateral, and in-store signage.
Researched gourmet cheese companies and family dairy farms.

Came up with creative names and concepts for casino events, Facebook apps, and social media campaigns. Wrote copy for billboards, radio spots, Facebook posts, event invitations, and winner descriptions for the 2011 Sherpie Awards for exceptional social media presence in the gaming industry. Proofread airport maps, poker tournament charts, and everything in-between.

Proofread tons of ads for gaming, travel, and leisure clients. Wrote names and taglines for promotions or clients, in addition to writing radio spots, Facebook promotional posts, and print ads. Conducted creative research for brainstorming new campaign concepts, by finding music, pictures, or videos for inspiration.

Brought the target consumer of a vodka company to life, turned a café description into an Italian experience, and wrote eye-catching headlines for an energy company that helps schools go green.

Critiqued creative website layouts, print ads and commercials for vodka companies; and wrote SWOT analyses for energy drink and flavored water companies.

Critiqued and selected poems and short stories suitable for publishing.

Promoted Adam White’s campaign for Student Union President through the use of a door-to-door dorm campaign, distributing fliers, and using social platforms such as Facebook.

Succeeded in Adam White winning the Student Union Presidency at Northumbria University, with a record-breaking 1,700 votes.
