Directly maintained and administered all network enclaves which directly supported all shipboard warfare areas. Networks included systems and infrastructure of Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows Server 2000, Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows NT, Sun Solaris UNIX, Hewlett-Packard UNIX (HPUX), Red Hat, Cisco routers, and Alcatel switches. As Information Security Officer, analyzed and managed and all Information Assurance Vulnerability (IAV) updates on each network enclave and utilized HBSS to ensure network information defense and security. Made regular reports regarding the IA vulnerability status of all networks on USS Mobile Bay. Also used network management software such as VMware, VPN, and VNC. Additionally, led and trained a division of 15 personnel in the functionality of said systems, resulting in a maintenance efficiency rating of 99.9% - a rating unmatched by other areas of the ship.

Circuits in question were responsible for all classified information that was processed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Keflavik and the Icelandic Defense Force. Public speaking and presence were required and successfully instituted throughout the tour. Became the resident expert on all operations and trained future supervisors on their roles and responsibilities.
