As a retail, exhibit, and experience designer, Erin spent 11 years with GES, an international event and exhibition company specializing in event strategy, creative, production and logistics. With a background in architecture, Erin primarily supported the retail division of GES, designing and producing architecturally unique products and services for shopping centers, leading retailers, and corporations worldwide. In this role, she produced 3D designs and retail environments for clients such as Comcast, Dell, General Growth Properties (GGP), and Simon Property Group.
Prior to joining GES, Erin worked as an intern architect at Perkins & Will, a commercial architecture and design firm specializing in commercial building architecture, interior design, sustainable building design, branded environments, and urban planning. There she designed projects for clients primarily in the healthcare industry, including HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), the largest for-profit hospital operator in the U.S.
Erin is also active in several community and international organizations. She serves as Vice-Moderator for the Zimbabwe Mission Partnership, helping to manage operations and fundraising activities for an Orphan Care Center in rural Zimbabwe. In the spring of 2014, she was an Artist in Residence at Anythink Brighton, leading after-school classes for teens and introducing them to the concepts of design through hands-on problem solving charrettes.
