Eduardo Chávez

Arrived in Austin in 2013. Has accrued 40+ film credits since then consisting of student and freelance work. Serve mainly in the capacity of First/Second Camera Assistant, Grip, Lighting Technician, or Chief Lighting Technician.

Gained experience filming, lighting, and editing live events in a fast-paced environment. Helped to produce some of KUT/KUTX's first 360 video content as an internship project.

Worked under the management of Mr. Oscar Eduardo Palomo as a graphic designer with piecework compensation. Left as a result of fall college enrollment at the University of Texas at Austin. Gained working experience with the Adobe Creative Suite. Learned how to cater first-hand to specific customer design requests in a moderately paced work environment. Typical work orders included logos, fliers, brochures, and business promotional material.

Had the unique opportunity of aiding in the development of an international accordion start-up business with partners in Italy, Mexico, and South Texas as a volunteer merchandise photographer with no compensation. Gained some basic insight into customs brokering. Was responsible for photographing accordions as they arrived into the United States into Brownsville from Mexico for vending, quality control, and promotional purposes.
