A product of one of the prime state universities in the Philippines, Architect Eleno A. De Paz completed his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Polytechnic University of the Philippines under the Japan-International Cooperation Agency (JICA) University Program in 1997. From 1997 to 2002, he acquired his professional training and exposure from the firm of one of the Philippine Masters of Architecture Felipe M. Mendoza and Partners. Exposed to designing challenging and edifice structures commissioned to the firm such as the Sandiganbayan Centennial Building, Clark International Airport, and Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Center for Technology and Exchange Training for Small and Medium Enterprise Building (ACTETSME) to name a few, Architect De Paz learned the trade of the professional practice of Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, and Construction Industry.
Trained in the highest architectural design standards and professionalism under the mentorship of Architect Mendoza, a fellow of United Architects of the Philippines, First LIKHA Awardee of UAP, Outstanding Architect of PRC, Gawad Kalinangan ng Maynila Awardee, Arch. De Paz comprehensively worked and collaborated with his mentor and colleagues during his whole post in the company. He took pleasure in forging his career foundation during these early years.
In his pursuit and vision on contributing his analytical and systematic design process and his own principles in architecture, he decided to merge with Arch. Raymond Mendiola and Richard Roque to continue the legacy left by Arch. Mendoza, After the stint of Mendiola+De Paz+Roque Architects, He decided to share his acquired knowledge and be a part of the International renowned Recio+Casas Architects, wherein he was able to exposed himself to some of skyscrapers of the Philippines such as the St. Francis Shangri-la Place, Aspire Tower, The Levels, Entrata Urban Complex, and Alphaland Makati Place.
To strengthen his knowledge in built-environment, he decided to shift into design management profession thru the help of Hongkong registered firm Duotal. During his stint to the firm as the Design Management Group Lead, he had a chance to experience and learned the principle of Integrated Project Delivery thru Building Information Management and being implemented in the Manila Bay Resorts Project.
Pursuing further his professional advancement, Arch. De Paz was qualified to become a member of prestigious organization of The American Institute of Architects as an International Associate.
