Dushan Milic is an award winning visual communicator whose interdisciplinary practice as illustrator, designer and educator is driven by endless curiosity, deep interest in the sciences, creative facilitation and love of conceptualization. His evocative and conceptually driven imagery appears in some of today’s most influential publications, including the Globe and Mail, New York Times, Bloomberg, and The Walrus. Recent awards include Silver (2014) and Gold (2013) Medals at the Alberta Magazine Awards and a Bronze Lion at Cannes in Advertising (2012). After living in Amsterdam, Montreal, and the Cayman Islands, Dushan is currently in Toronto teaching at OCAD University and Sheridan College and has completed an MFA in Digital Futures at OCAD University that explores the use of aesthetics as a critical knowledge-system within visualization, design, science, conceptualization and critique.
