Graphic Designer
San Diego, CA
Sep 2007 - Oct 2011 (4 years 1 month)
Aztec Shops is a non-profit corporation and functions as and auxiliary of San Diego State University (SDSU). I started here as a student graphic designer. After graduating from SDSU I was then hired full-time. This is where I learned the in's and out's of being a creative designer.
I designed graphics for the SDSU Bookstore and SDSU Dining. My responsibilities include creating print and digital banners, menus, brochures and window displays. We designed and created the window display props and signage in-house. Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship were a must. I learned how to use the company's 42" large format printer and vinyl plotter machine. I used these machines to produce campus advertising and informational communications on a daily basis.
