I worked for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette for 35 years.
My last position was Graphics/Multimedia editor where I lead the Photo and News Graphics Departments which handled newspaper and magazine photography plus I created charts, maps and interactive graphics for the print newspaper and its website. I also drew award-winning editorial cartoons and cartoon illustrations. -

• Managed Pinterest account for news department, Twitter account for graphics, contributed daily postings to company Twitter and Facebook pages. Utilizing graphics, photos for all postings to insure interest and viewings of postings.
• Responsible for suggesting and creating all local graphics producing versions for print and online.
• Responsible for production of all online static and interactive graphics for telegram.com - using online tools such as Google maps, MapBox, JS Juxtapose, JS Timeline, Google sheets and others. Produced print maps and charts according the Gatehouse style in both color and B&W.
• Implemented and maintained News Department online planning documents between editors and page designers in Austin, Texas.
· Continued to create local print and online graphics and produce cartoons for editorial page, website and syndicated by Gatehouse Media’s MoreContentNow.
