This is the Summer 2013 Trend Board that I created for Urban Outfitters. The theme highlights 1950's/1960's Retro Style. The era of the 50's and 60's followed World War II, which brought on economic change and therefore social change. This change influenced design, particularly fashion. Pieces of this time frame correlate into today's economic and social weave. We are seeing art as a component of fashion and design as times begin to rejuvenate.
