2012 Fall Baroque Trend Board for Urban Outfitters
My Fall 2012/Winter 2013 trend board for UO communicates transformation and cohesion. With advancements in technology, printing and laser technology allows for cut-outs and prints that are geometric, graphic, precise, bold, crisp, and abstract. Airy, light-weight fabrics have emerged in conjunction with heavy, dark, fabric, color, and pattern. It is as if the simplistic, airy freedom of a Greek Goddess walked into the dramatic ornamentation and detail of the Baroque Era.
