Chair, Digital Life Science Marketing Group
The Association of Commercial Professionals - Life Sciences (ACP-LS)
Jan 2014 - Present (10 years 11 months)
The Association of Commercial Professionals - Life Sciences (ACP-LS) is the first organization for life science commercial professionals (sales, marketing, business development, client services, commercial operations and technical support) dedicated to selling and marketing to organizations (academic, government and commercial) that perform research, discovery, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic products and therapies.
The Digital Life Science Marketing Group focuses on key topics in the digital marketing area, such as lead generation automation, digital marketing benchmarks, and social media engagement. Plans include developing best practices for lead generation, exploring options for marketing automation, establishing key metrics and benchmarks to create a digital marketing road map and benchmarking report, analyzing social media channels for trends in the life science supplier industry, creating engagement models focused on awareness and the scientific buying cycle, and developing a universal, yet evolving digital life science model that can be applied to all current and future life science markets. Other industries are reaping the benefits of leading-edge digital technologies, as are early adopters in the life sciences.
One of the inspirations behind creating the working group is to streamline and share ideas about digital marketing in the life science industry and to promote the development of novel models to tackle challenges in the market. The Digital Life Science Marketing Group has plans for holding monthly meetings where ACP-LS members can receive ongoing education, collaborate with other key leaders in the industry, and learn how to incorporate and design digital marketing models for their specific business.
