I am a graduate from UIUC with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design. I was in Civil Engineering for 2 years before I switched to Industrial Design, and that switch has proven to be the best choice in my life. I really enjoy working in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and I'm extremely passionate about using 3D modeling programs such as Solidworks and 3DS Max Design. My father is a carpenter and has taught me a lot about building things with my hands, so I always enjoy making mock-up prototypes and appearance models.
In my own personal time I usually find myself playing guitar or finding new projects to build. The last personal project I worked on was a restoration of a Fender Stratocaster guitar. It got a new Ford Mustang GT500 paint scheme as well as a carved cobra emblem as its new headstock. I also find that ever since being taught to photograph every step in my design process, I seem to photograph things I make all the time now. I also enjoy driving or walking around looking for interesting things to photograph. I have played tennis since early grade school, and played in my high school's team. I also enjoy playing baseball and watching hockey.
