Lakelyf Design is Washington based consultancy specializing in design thinking and the development of consumer products. As owner and principal designer I guide clients through the product development process and execute our project deliverables.

We create design solutions for our clients based in the United States, the United Kingdom, S.E. Asia, and Australia.

Group 4 is a design and research consultancy operating for over 40 years. As a designer I utilized diverse manufacturing processes, drawing, research design, prototyping, videography, project travel, live easel drawing, color/material/finish selection, 3d CAD modeling, and 3d rendering. Products to market during this period include: Shark Sonic Duo cleaning fluid bottles (two patents), Bonine motion sickness medication travel pack, Abbvie Viekiera packaging, Glacier Bay drinking water filtration systems, Seek Thermal and XR camera cases, Sylvania Zevo packaging, and the Iris Ohyama MAKER cookware line.

PADI SCUBA courses and private guiding on the Great Barrier Reef. Assembled and tested up to 30 sets of scuba equipment per day, guided dives and conducted introductory dives, acted as deck hand and snorkel guide. Assisted & conducted PADI SCUBA courses and privately guided dive trips. Operated high pressure fill equipment and practiced routine maintenance on: fins, masks, snorkels, BCDs and computers. Auxiliary roles included the application of first aid and oxygen, rescue, marine life education and identification training.

Product designer. My role encompassed the production of concept sketches through Solidworks models. This position began as an internship and became full-time after graduation. I worked on the design and CAD for the Slip-X Solutions: Jelly Hook during this period.
