The concept for Beauté Trouvé was inspired when I rediscovered my fascination with Prismacolored pencils, returning to traditional mediums to replicate the vintage fashion styles of the 1940s. Throughout my research for this series, I became enchanted by the natural beauty of each actress and the influence they had in the film industry during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Each illustration was carefully matched; the fashion designers paired perfectly with the actress that epitomized the collection, the pose that captivated their seductive allure, and the colors that represented each actress’s individuality. I creatively captured the leading beauties of fashion and film in Beauté Trouvé.
