Angel Petkov in general is design person, long time he worked in the fields of kinetic sculpture, interactive objects for advertising and modern art objects, furniture design and graphical design. He is author of industrial design of smart home and fitness consumer electronic devices. Petkov was born in Sofia in 1989. He graduated Sculpture at the "National Academy of Arts", Sofia, Bulgaria. Angel studied Interior and Product Design at the "New Bulgarian University", Bulgaria. He works as Head of department Design, in SION JSCo since 2011 in industrial design and development process of first device of US Company Tao-Wellness. ( Now ActivBody Inc. ). Their first Product was shown on CES, Las Vegas 2014 and was selected as a finalist "Best Of CES" from Digital Trends. Exhibitions in "MAD museum", Stratford, Great Britain 2012, Kinetica Art Fair, London, Great Britain 2012, Transsform, Thessaloniki, Greece 2012, CES 2016, Las Vegas, innovative industrial design of TAO Variobics Chair Accessory, 2016

Design aspects specified by the industrial designer may include the overall shape of the object, the location of details with respect to one another, colors, texture, sounds, and aspects concerning the use of the product ergonomics. Design Engineering (DE) is a discipline that creates and transforms ideas and concepts into a product definition that satisfies customer requirements. The definitions of these two categories of design have a fundamental difference between them: ID is an applied art, whereas DE is a discipline. This means that industrial designers more often have more liberal control than design engineers to design everything that they or their customers like. This is due to the fact that design engineers have only one choice: make it work.
