After a couple of years working as a Junior new media designer in London my career in the motorsports industry began when I moved to Italy in the year 2000 to work for the apparel company Alpinestars.
I was there for three and a half years as the designer and content manager of alpinestars.com, also working on advertising and some products.
It was a hard decision to leave Alpinestars but I was offered the job of Interactive director at Fox racing in California and since it had always been a dream of mine to live and work there, I decided to take the opportunity. After a year, a redesigned website, some product micro sites, a load of adverts, creative direction on some catalogs and the design of the 80sq foot Fox booth at the San Diego ASR Tradeshow it was time to move back to Europe.
Barcelona to be precise. Whilst there I worked as a freelance designer/producer for Hybrid studios in LA on The Mr and Mrs Smith website, The Buffy the Vampire slayer portal and some other fun projects. I also designed and produced sites for Le Mans/Formula Nippon/Japan GT Champions Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer, an Interior design company in Barcelona and a few others.
From out of the blue I then received a great offer to move to Leo Burnett in Frankfurt as Art director on the Marlboro racing/Marlboro after dark websites for Russia and Mexico. I stayed there for a couple of years before moving to Kiska in 2007.
At Kiska my main focus has been to take the Creative lead for all KTM motorcycle CTG (color trim and GFX) and manage a small team to see projects from concept through to production. I also sometimes work with the communication department on various print and web projects.
