Derek Moser

I am a creative professional based in Fremont, CA. My passions include graphic design and photography. Whether it’s for work, a client or “just for fun,” I’m always doing some sort of project to keep my creativity fresh and hot.



It’s a personal goal of mine to always out do myself. If you’re going to do something, then do it like it's going to be the last thing you ever do. Never settle for “good enough” when you know deep down it could be better. Getting that “wow” when people see the results makes it all worth it.



I've been actively doing graphic design since 1999 when I was in high school. My first design-related class I took was web design. Here I learn how to hand code websites from scratch using Notepad. I was amazed. I then decided now that I know how to code in HTML, I'm gonna need to make some graphics! So I took computer graphics and was introduced to all the cool Adobe software; Photoshop, Illustrator and PageMaker (yes, PageMaker!). My design skills back then were less than great, but I was having fun - and still do! As I look back at some of my early work, I'm amazing of how far I've come and will go.



Photography is a great hobby for myself, in which, I've also done some paid photo shoots photographing remodeled home interiors. Landscape photography, however, is where my soul truly becomes alive. My favorite landscapes include Yosemite National Park. Yosemite has some of the most beautiful sights you'll ever see. It's a great feeling to get away from the flat lands and head to the mountains to hike and be blessed by the amazing scenery. When I'm in Yosemite Valley and look up, I am floored as to how indescribably beautiful the monoliths look tower above me.
