Broadly skilled Designer with not just 2 years experience teaching Design and Technology at High School, but also over 6 years of industry based experienced. I have provided product design solutions across markets such as domestic lighting, home build and sports turfcare just to name a few. I am recognised as a key contributor in the product development of current LED lighting systems in the UK and I am passionate about translating emerging trends into successful product lines.
A bit more about me as a person might be that I am bilingual, speaking both English and Portuguese. I think I'm the next Bob Villa when it comes to home DIY and I'm a keen gym goer. I am a huge sports enthusiast, most noticeably supporting my home soccer team Peterborough Utd, and I've never really grown out of watching WWE wrestling. -

2:1 UPPER SECOND Product Design BScUniversity of Huddersfield2003 - 2007Whilst at the University of Huddersfield I studied Product Design BSc and gained an Upper second. Course modules included; Creative thinking project, Digital and visual communication essay, Design context studies essay, 3D Design project (Solidworks, 3D Studio Max, Alias, Adobe Suite along with Premier Pro), Advanced computing and technology studies, Innovation and specification development report, Professional practice awareness essay, Work placement 1 year (Polar Creative), Minor design specification report, Minor design project, Major design specification report, Major design project. During this time I also gained A Diploma of Product Design. Course modules included various creative thinking assignments, further design in context reports along with further 3D Design projects utilising Solidworks, 3D Studio Max and Alias 3D modelling software.
