Daniel Zakroczemski

I am an Editorial Illustrator currently on staff at The Buffalo News since 1998.

Main Responsibility is to create images for the feature pages of Viewpoints, Business, Moneysmart, Lifestyles, Sports, Entertainment and A1 of The Buffalo News and (former) Buffalo News Sunday Magazine.

Also, Creative Director, Designer and Illustrator for The Buffalo News Book Club from 2004 to 2015, which included poster design, bookmark design, and monthly feature pages in The Buffalo News.

Other responsibilities have included: Feature page design, poster design, logo design, graphic art for other promotional materials.

Skills include: Photoshop, QuarkExpress, Corel Painter, some Illustrator, and some Dreamweaver. Also traditional media such as pencil, paints and pastels, etc.

Awards and recognition include 80 for Society for News Design (SND 28 - SND 38) over the last ten years while at the News.
